Mission Statement 

The Engineering Services mission is to help create a safe and livable community by providing centralized, in-house professional engineering services to other City departments. With honesty and accessibility, we advise and inform citizens about City Policy. We answer complaints and regulate development by attempting to bring together both city and community resources to solve problems. We are dedicated to innovation, teamwork and professionalism while providing quality construction through responsible inspection and contract administration.  

 

The Engineering Services Department oversees the design specifications, in-house design, plan review of public utilities, stormwater, roadway, and sidewalk projects, enforces erosion control regulations, collects and maintains survey data, and inspects city and private projects. This Department is composed of Construction, Design, Erosion, and  Surveying professionals.
