Boards and Commissions
Boards & Commissions are a very important part of the legislative process in the City of High Point. Volunteers serve to review detailed information regarding the topic of their authority and make recommendations to City Council. Membership requirements and terms vary according to each boar and commission, with each having a City Staff liaison who is responsible for the group's general coordination. Please contact Lisa Vierling, City Clerk lisa.vierling@highpointnc.gov if you are interested in serving or with questions regarding membership. Qualified individuals must complete the Boards & Commissions Application (link below). Applications will be reviewed by City Council and newly appointed members will be notified by mail.
