What Can You Recycle?

The City accepts many items for recycling. Below is a list of items you may place in your recycling cart:

Plastics - #1 PETE, #2 HDPE,  and #3 through #7 – this includes drink bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles, and other plastics. (NO PLASTIC BAGS, return to store!) 

 

  

 

Mixed paper: includes newspaper, office paper, cereal/food boxes, phone books, magazines, junk mail, and much more.
 

 

 

 

 

 
Cardboard: any and all corrugated boxes, pizza boxes
(no food in box); flatten for better storage.

 

 

 

  

 

Aluminum and metal cans: emptied and rinsed.

 

 

 

 

 

 Glass bottles and jars: emptied and rinsed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Electronics: anything with a cord, can be recycled by bringing electronics to the MRF (or another listed site).
