Loose Leaf Pickup

  • leafpileLoose leaves will be collected for a 10-week period during the fall and early winter.
  • You must rake your leaves to the street behind the curb. Do not put your loose leaves in the street.
  • If you live on a street without curb and gutter, place loose leaves on your side of the ditch - do not block the drainage ditches.
  • The City collects loose leaves on City-maintained public streets.  Residents on private streets may bag leaves for weekly yard waste collection or take leaves to the Ingleside Compost Facility.
  • Keep rocks, sticks, and other debris out of your leaves - damages equipment.
  • Newspaper, television, radio and Cablevision Channel 8 announcements of the loose leaf collection schedule will be made. The schedule will also be included in your utility statement from the City of High Point.

Leaves placed in a clear plastic bag are collected weekly.
