Training & Development
The City of High Point considers our employees its greatest asset and each employee a valued member of the City workforce.
We believe in encouraging employees to maximize their potential and obtain the highest standards of performance through personal and professional learning opportunities. In April of 2010 a new online training system known as the Learning Management System or LMS was made available to City employees.
LMS provides access to Online Training courses for selected supervisors and employees. The selected supervisors and employees have the flexibility to complete courses at a time convenient for them. Those with VPN access can also complete courses remotely.
