LANDFILL SUPERVISOR

MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

SCALE HOUSE OPERATOR

The City of High Point's Landfill Division needs motivated Scale House Operator to weigh in trash trucks, collect fees, monitor loads for non-acceptable refuse, and maintain required records and computerized data.  Individual must have accuracy in data entry and good communication skills including telephone and two-way radio communications; must have or be able to develop good knowledge of landfill rules and regulations and landfill banned and hazardous materials.  Must have good computer, typing and other office equipment experience and be able to work alone.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and possess a valid NC driver’s license.  Starting salary from $12.07 per hour depending on qualifications.
