This website has been designed to provide information on planning and development in High Point, including the city's planning related boards and commissions, city plans and studies, and development and construction related information. It is our goal to provide the same information on the internet that you can obtain in our office.
If you want to visit us, our office is located in Room 316 on the 3rd floor of the Municipal Office Building at 211 South Hamilton Street in downtown High Point. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding official holidays. However, the Permit Center hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. On-site visitor parking is available either on the E. Green Drive or Commerce Avenue sides of the building, and South Hamilton Street has on-street parking.
We encourage you to visit us either via the internet or in our downtown High Point office to obtain more information about the High Point community or to assist you with your development project in High Point.
