University Area Plan

As many of you may recall, in December 2008 the City's Planning and Development Department kicked-off a study of the university area to help identify and address anticipated growth in the area for the next 5-10 years.  On December 7, 2009 City Council adopted the University Area Plan.

The purpose of this plan was to conduct a detailed study of the area around High Point University and prepare recommendations to guide the orderly growth of the area.

We hope that you find this plan informative and helpful.  Click here to view a copy of the full plan.  For your convenience we have also created an executive summary, click here to view the executive summary.
