The Recreation Center is available for rentals for reunions, wedding receptions, graduation parties or any type of family gathering you may have when not in use for regular operational programs and activities. Click here or call for more information.

High Point Parks & Recreation has partnered with Go Far to provide a one mile and 5K walk/run route around the recreation center. You will see a sign like the one to the left at the facility outlining the routes, stretches, and healthy eating tips.
|After School Program - K-5th Grade
2:30-6pm Fee:$125 per month + activity fees
We provide a safe and fun environment for your child. There will be free time, arts & crafts, organized activities and homework time. Parents are responsible for daily snacks.
|Gym for Special Populations
10:30am-12pm All group homes and families are welcome to our open play time for special populations to gain socialization skills and be more active. Please call in advance if you are planning on a large group to attend. Program will be held through May 26.

|National Engineer's Week Bridge Building Competition - ages 9-14

Celebrate National Engineer's Week by testing your bridge-building skills. The competition involves a one week term to complete the build, ending with our testing day. All bridges will be tested to their breaking point. Materials and rules will be available for pick up on Friday, February 19 by 6pm.

Learn basic wrestling techniques with emphasis on set-ups and proper drilling before moving into take down, inside trips, throw tilts, top-bottom wrestling, counter wrestling, and more.
