The High Point Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer Special Events throughout the year for our citizens. We have several special events including the annual Easter Egg Hunts at Washington Terrace Park and City Lake Park, the 4th of July "Uncle Sam Jam" at Oak Hollow Festival Park and more. All events scheduled are listed below and we encourage you to attend and have a great time.

| Uncle Sam Jam Wednesday July 4, 2012 4:30p.m. - Gates Open; 9:45p.m. - Fireworks Fee:$10.00 per car load Come out to Oak Hollow Festival Park for our annual July 4th celebration. We will have plenty of food vendors, music and fireworks. Performers will be: 40 East (Today's Country/Southern Rock) and Pushh (Variety). We will have novelties, exhibits and displays, and food and beverage for purchase. No cans, bottles or alcohol allowed. No pets allowed, except for service animals. Additional parking available at Oak Hollow Golf Course and Marina. Sponsored by High Point Parks & Recreation, The High Point Enterprise, North State Communications, Pepsi Cola and WPAW 93.1.
