If you are a new resident of the City of High Point and need utility service established in your name, complete the online form. Since electricity, water and sewer are billed after being used, we require that you establish credit before completing your application for service. Credit checks are performed with each application to determine if a security deposit will be required. Please provide a phone number where the City can contact you to discuss a credit check option. All requests to start water service are subject to a $25 set-up fee. This charge will be placed on the first month's bill for the new location.
If your previous residence is served by the City of High Point and you need the service for that location taken out of your name, please use the Transfer Service form instead.
