Grant-Seeker Information

GrantSpace

GrantSpace is a website maintained by the Foundation Center which offers information and resources for nonprofit organizations that need know-how to obtain funding and operate effectively.

Resources

GrantSpace resources include webinars (many of which are free), and a “Knowledge Base” of articles about finding grant-makers, submitting proposals, and managing nonprofit organizations.

Grants.gov

Grants.gov is a free online clearinghouse for information about grants from the federal government. The website is maintained by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, but it covers the grant-making activities of a wide variety of federal agencies (ranging from the U.S. Department of Defense to the National Endowment for the Arts).

Exclusion

Note that Grants.gov does not cover the grant-making activities of charitable and philanthropic foundations. Information about these grants is available online through the Foundation Center’s products.
