The Directory is intended both for High Point residents seeking services, and as a tool for nonprofit-to-nonprofit networking. It is updated every year.
The Directory includes some nonprofit organizations which are based beyond the High Point city limits, but which serve High Point’s residents.
A sample entry from the Directory of Local Nonprofit Organizations
Churches, other places of worship, and faith-based organizations whose missions are primarily religious are not included in the Directory. Some charitable ministries serving social roles (e.g. homeless shelters and soup kitchens) are, however, included.
A limited number of copies of comb-bound printed copies of the Directory are available, free of charge, at the Research Services desk on the second floor of the library.
If you know of a nonprofit organization serving the High Point community that should be added to the Directory, please download thisPDF application form, complete it, save it, and email the edited copy to John Raynor at the library’s Research Services desk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Information about nonprofit organizations outside the greater High Point area is available from the GuideStar online database.
