Exercise Your Mind

The 2016 Adult Summer Reading Program, Exercise Your Mind, starts June 13th and ends August 8th. Adults 19 years old and up can read books this summer and enter the drawing for prizes to be given away at the end of the summer! Registration ends on July 11th.  For every book you read, you will be able to enter a drawing. There will be ballot boxes on all three floors of the library for you to place your entries.

On Your Mark, Get Set... Read!

The theme for the Children’s Summer Reading Program this year is “On Your Mark, Get Set... READ!” and starts on Monday, June 13th. Monday is the first day kids can sign up for programs that require registration and can sign up for the book club. End of the summer prizes for the book club this year include a large plush library lion, a classic Lego set, an American Girl Doll, an iPod Touch, and a bike. Get in the Game: Read!

The Teen Summer Reading Program, Get in the Game: READ!, starts on June 13th and will run through August 7th with registration ending on July 17th.  Rising 9th - 12th graders will be able to read books and win prizes! We will also be having a raffle at the end of the summer where one lucky teen will be able to win a brand new Kindle! Come to the 3rd floor Readers’ Services desk for more information on how you can win prizes and enter the raffle. Teens who register in person by July 17th will get a free bowling coupon.
