The Piedmont Triad International Airport Part 150 Update is an airport noise compatibility study required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The assessment report provided information on prior airport noise studies, the Part 150 Update study’s conclusions, and the Planning and Development Department’s resulting recommendations for the Airport Overlay District.
The City has conducted land use assessments for two areas that are undergoing major roadway projects that will have an impact on existing and future land use policy. The areas are the Eastchester Drive & I-74 interchange and the Jamestown Bypass.
A community-wide planning effort to establish the general direction for policymaking and public investment over the next 20 years or more. It is an opportunity to create a conceptual roadmap for growth and development that guides the city’s future by articulating community priorities and identifying actions to help realize the vision.
