Greenway Trail System

Greenways are linear parks of land left in a natural state that provide an enjoyable course for walking, jogging, biking, and skating. Many greenways are built along the banks of rivers, streams, and lakes. High Point has over 9 miles of greenways and more are planned as the Bicentennial Greenway will connect High Point and Greensboro.

  • Unauthorized motor vehicles, alcoholic beverages, drugs, and openly displayed weapons are prohibited.
  • Dogs must be kept on leashes at all times.
  • Bikes must stay on trails to avoid damage to vegetation and wildlife habitat.

Greenways are open from sunrise to sunset.
