Annually, the City of High Point grants funding to Non-Profit Organizations which assist the City in carrying out its mission and strategic plan in support of vital community services. Organizations can apply for grants as part of the City's budget which takes effect each July 1. The application process is competitive and not all applicants will be awarded funding.
The Non-Profit applications are evaluated by the City of High Point Finance Committee. Recommendations for funding will be forwarded to the City Council for consideration. The City Council takes final action on the funding requests as part of the annual budget adoption process.
Applications are to be completed and submitted by the deadline to be considered for FY2024-2025 funding year.
The Application Submittal Deadline is: 5:00pm Friday, February 9, 2024
With the new process, applications cannot be submitted unless completed (applications not signed are considered incomplete). The application portal will also not allow late submissions. All submitted applications will be reviewed by the Budget and Evaluation Department for completeness.
Applications can no longer be submitted via email or in-person.
