High Point Planning & Development Department
The High Point Planning & Development Department can provide information about:

The Planning and Development Department obtains and analyzes a variety of demographic and socioeconomic data, including employment figures, every ten years as part of its Decennial Census Analysis (PDF). It was most recently completed in 2012 using information from the 2010 Census and 2006-2010 American Community Survey.

N.C. Division of Employment Security
The N.C. Division of Employment Security can provide information about:

The State DES produces monthly labor market information and unemployment rates for the nation, state, counties, metropolitan statistical areas, and cities, including High Point, through their Demand Driven Data Delivery (D4) system. They also provide access to a variety of Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data for additional geographic areas.

U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics can provide information about:

The Census Bureau produces employment figures for 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year periods down to the census block group level as part of the American Community Survey (ACS). This information, including size of the labor force, employment status, commuting time, occupations, and industries is available on the American Factfinder website. Prior to the 2010 Census, this information was published every ten years after the decennial census. 2000 Census data is also available on the American Factfinder website.
