The contest is open to students ages 12 to 18 who live in High Point.
To participate in the contest, please submit a written creation (no more than 750 words) focused on gratitude. All submissions must be original written creations (including but not limited to essays, narratives and poems).
At the top of your written creation, please include your name, address, contact phone number, email, school name and age.

Deadline for Submissions: Sunday November 3 2019
Submissions will be judged on articulated/demonstrated cultural and International awareness, unity/equality and artistic expression.
Winners will be announced at the Annual Giving Thanks Community Potluck and recognized at a future City Council meeting. The Annual Giving Thanks Community potluck will take place Thursday November 14 at the High Point University Community Center from 6pm-8pm.
