Roy B. Culler, Jr. Senior Center

The Center is named for former High Point Mayor, Roy B. Culler, Jr., who was instrumental in its development. The Senior Center is certified by the State of North Carolina as a "Center of Excellence." The offices of the Senior Resources of Guilford are also located at the center.

Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, evenings and weekends when programs are scheduled and other times by appointment.

Volunteers

 
Volunteers are key to the success of the Center. Some of the areas where volunteers are needed most include program or class leaders, assistants leaders, craft shop attendants, health screening personnel, receptionists and information and referral desk attendants. If interested, please complete the Volunteer Application (PDF) and return it to the Senior Center office.

Event Types

    
The Center offers a variety of programs and activities including:  arts and crafts, club meetings, cultural events, entertainment, exercise, guest speakers, health screenings, holiday celebrations, movies, parties, trips and more.

Facility Rentals
The center is available for rentals for reunions, wedding receptions, graduation parties or any type of family gathering you may have when not in use for regular operational programs and activities. See our Rentals page for more information.
