High Point Parks and Recreation operates parks with a variety of sizes and amenities. 

Park Hours


Our Parks are open from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise posted. Parks with gates may close gates earlier than sunset.
  1. Greenway Trail System

    Greenways are linear parks of land left in a natural state that provide an enjoyable course for walking, jogging, biking, and skating.

  2. High Point City Lake Park

    A family-fun park located in Jamestown, NC. High Point City Lake Park offers many attractions including a train, carousel, swimming pool and much more.

  3. Oak Hollow Festival Park

    Festival Park is the site of Oak Hollow Lake, built as a primary water supply for the City of High Point and now a great source of outdoor recreation.

  4. Washington Terrace Park & Community Center

    Offers a community center for rentals, shelter rentals, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, and swimming pool.
