Keep On Keeping On

Covid-19 has altered a lot of our normal operations, but we haven't let that slow down the actions we have taken to make an impact in our community! We have started a garden at Ingleside Compost Facility to help combat food insecurity, we are working with community groups to see how we can work together to marry our mission and their needs, and we have had many productive Zoom meetings full of brand new ideas to help us learn and grow! Even in a pandemic we are still dedicated to our mission of:

  • Beautification and Greening
  • Litter Prevention
  • Outreach and Education
  • Recycling and Waste Reduction

Did You Know?

Each year Keep High Point Beautiful board members drive around the majority of the city looking for litter. This is called Litter Indexing and each area is scored based on the amount of litter present.  This data is used to determine where to focus cleanup efforts and education and also to track the rate of litter in the city. Since this effort began, we have actually seen a reduction in litter in many parts of the city!
