What’s Happening Now?

Litter Litter Everywhere

We hear you, litter is really bad right now. This is partly due to the pandemic and some of this is because litter is just easier to see in the winter when vegetation has died back. To learn more about your options to help us tackle litter please go here.

SUMMER TRASH SMASH logo

Summer Trash Smash is on the way!

Summer Trash Smash is on the way! On Saturday, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon, designated police and fire personnel will be driving through High Point looking for residents removing litter from their neighborhoods and/or beautifying the exterior of their home/property.
If you are spotted beautifying High Point, you could win gift cards from our participating sponsors! Anyone can participate!

Great American Cleanup was a big success!

We had 190 volunteers work together to help remove litter and debris from 27 locations across High Point! Those volunteers collected over 1,940 pounds of trash and 560 pounds of recycling. We also collected over 200 non-perishable food and household items to aid in the fight against hunger in High Point! Awesome job everyone! Here are a few pictures of our hard working participants!
