It is time again for current and rising High School students to apply to be on the Keep High Point Beautiful Youth Council! This is a wonderful opportunity to get more involved in the community, add to your college resume, and learn new things. For more information and to apply please visit our Youth Council page.
From February 11 to March 10, 2019, Keep High Point Beautiful and the City of High Point will be hosting our third Winter Wipeout! Individuals and groups can participate at a convenient time between these dates.
Lakin was recognized by City Council on Monday, January 7th for her upcoming participation in the National Keep America Beautiful Conference. She will be representing KHPB at the conference in February. Way to go Lakin!
Lakin Stevens and KHPB Supervisor, Rebecca Coplin
A variety of flower bulbs were available to interested City of High Point residents, businesses, and schools.
The Keep High Point Beautiful flower bulb giveaways were a huge success.
High Point residents, local businesses, and schools were provided with a free bag of flower bulbs in January. In February we took food donations for a local food bank and gave free bags of bulbs in return.
So far this year we have given away over 4,000 bulbs and collected over 250 donated items. These efforts are just another way we can all keep High Point Beautiful!
Would you like to get in on the bag of free bulbs next time? Just "Like" our Facebook or Instagram page and be on the lookout!
