School Year Volunteer Opportunities:

Book Buddies: Application period open Sept 1 through 15 2023.

The Book Buddies program will pair older students (Big Buddies in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade) with younger students (Little Buddies in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades) for 30-minute sessions of read aloud to help them build their confidence in reading.

There are two application windows for the Book Buddy Program.   One in the fall (September 1 –September 15), and one in the spring (Jan 1- Jan 15).  If your child would like to build their confidence in reading, or if your child  is a strong reader, patient, and interested in being a Big Buddy .  Please fill out the application here.
