The Junior Friends of High Point Public Library are an important part of Children’s Services. The Junior friends are volunteers interested in reading, helping others, and making a difference in our community.
Purpose & Responsibilities
Every summer, approximately 25 young people volunteer hundreds of hours. Their primary responsibility is to register children for the Summer Reading Book Club. In addition to running the Book Club, they also assist with various projects ranging from story times, crafts, and shelf reading.
