This Spring, Heritage Book Club will explore T. Harry Williams's Pulitzer Prize winning biography of Huey Long, Depression-era Louisiana Governor and Senator, who rode a populist wave to the heights of a corrupt Southern state government by tapping into the misery of common people and then sought to challenge FDR for the Presidency before being gunned down in the State Capitol in Baton Rouge.
