Juneteenth Experience: Finding and Celebrating Your J19 Family

Saturday, June 10, 2023

This interactive workshop is designed to provide you with the tools and methodology to research your African-American lineage back to 1870. Through a hands-on approach, you will learn effective strategies for researching both enslaved and free people of color during the antebellum period. With this newfound knowledge, you will be empowered to celebrate and honor those who transitioned to freedom and gain a deeper understanding of your family's history.
