This “wedding shower” in honor of the wedding of Prince Harry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will feature light refreshments, clips of historic royal weddings and a light discussion of America’s fascination with the British royalty. It will be on Friday, May 18, 2:30 – 4:30 p.m., in the Morgan Community Room and it’s a drop-in event, so please come when you can.
Attendees are asked to bring a donation of gently used clothing accessories such as scarves, handbags and jewelry to benefit the YWCA of High Point’s Women’s Resource Center. Donations can be brought to the event, or to the Lending Desk from May 7 – 20.
