PULL-OUT FROM THE GARAGE

Transit Operators - All buses should be at the terminal ready to depart on-time.  The 4-minute window does NOT apply to buses pulling out from the garage to start a run or a bus returning from lunch.

LEAVE BALANCES

Did you know that you can check your leave balances in SumTotal?  No more surprises to find out that you don't have as much leave time as you thought you had.  From the intranet page, hover over Resources and Links and then click on SumTotal.  Sign in with your user name (tr_____) and password.  You will then see the home page.  Hover over Absence and click on View Accruals.  You will see all of your leave balances by leave type.

LMS

Don't forget, your LMS courses must be completed on or before December 31st.  Do not wait until the last minute to get started.  Do not begin on a Saturday, just in case there is a problem with your account.  There is no one available on Saturdays at the help desk to assist.

The question has been asked a couple of times, so to clarify for everyone - only select individuals are in the instructor-led sessions.  Everyone else is expected to take the time to complete the 6 courses before or after a shift or on your day off.  Please make sure you complete a timesheet recording your time for completing the courses.

If you need help getting started or run into a problem with a course, please see Angie Lane or Christina.

RUN PICK

The run pick for the 6 month period January 2020 - June 2020 is circulating.  If you have any questions, please make sure you see a supervisor.

Chase's Chance & Make-A-Wish

LETTERS TO SANTA

Are you looking for a way to help others this holiday season?  There is an easy and fun way.  You can join Chase's Chance, a non-profit organization, by writing a letter to Santa.  Chase's Chance hopes to donate more than 2,500 letters to Santa through Macy's Believe campaign, which raises money for Make-A-Wish.  Macy's will donate $1 per letter up to $1 million to help fulfill life-changing wishes of children with critical illnesses.  Letters may be written on stationery, construction paper, or whatever you have handy.  If you are interested in writing a letter, Angela Wynes will collect letters until 5 PM, December 18th and make sure they are given to Chase's Chance.  If you would like a template to get you (or family and friends) started, see Angela Wynes.

Operators, mechanics, and service attendants, you MUST check your email from a computer in the office.  Checking from your phone does not count.
