LMS

2020 LMS

The 2020 LMS courses are now available.  Please log into the system by May 31, 2020 to make sure that you can access your courses and that you are assigned the correct courses.  Transit employees are asked to complete courses by September 30, 2020.  DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO START as there are six (6) courses to complete.

There are only a few individuals who will be in the instructor-led sessions.  If you are not notified that you are one of these individuals, you may not sit in on these sessions.  You must do the classes on your own.  If you sit in on an instructor-led session, you will still need to do the class on your own to receive credit.

Failure to complete your LMS courses will result in the lowering of your safety score on your annual appraisal.

Masks - UPDATE
Effective Monday, May 11, 2020, in addition to all staff being required to wear a mask passengers will be required to wear a mask or other face covering in order to board and ride a bus.  For passengers who do not have a face covering, each vehicle will have a supply of disposable masks that may be given to passengers who are in need.  Masks are not unlimited, so please make sure to only give one mask per passenger and only to those who do not have a face covering when boarding the bus.

City Management and Human Resources have also issued protocols that apply to all city employees.  Below are two (2) that transit employees should be aware of as they are changes from what we have been doing.

  • All employees should wear cloth face coverings upon entering City facilities or work sites, in common areas (including restrooms), hallways, and during gatherings or meetings.
  • Employees in City vehicles with other employees must wear a cloth face covering.

An additional order of reusable cloth masks has been delivered (and no, they are from a different company).  Each employee will be issued up to 4 masks.  They will be distributed as soon as possible after their arrival.

Social Distancing Bus

Social Distancing

Please help us with social distancing inside the buses. If your bus is too crowded let a supervisor know so we can make sure our passengers get to their destinations.Generally there should be more than 15 adults, but this number can be smaller or larger depending on the number and size of families traveling together.

Sign Out Button

Please Sign Out

When you are done checking your email or doing other activities on a city computer, make sure that you sign out of the computer.  Signing out of email, Beacon, or other applications only signs you out of that specific application.  If you do not sign out of your account on the computer, then the next user could have access to your information.  We have seen individuals think that they are checking their own email when in fact, they are actually in someone else's email account. If someone is visiting websites that contain viruses, etc or is doing activities that are prohibited under the computer user policy on the computer using your account, you will be held responsible.

See this short video on how to sign out of the computer.  If you have any questions or problems, please see a supervisor or office person.

During this time of social distancing, only 2 people may be in the facility at the same time.  Please make sure you wipe down all equipment before and after each use.

Please make sure to re-rack the weights and clean up when you are done.
