The Stadium Streets Project

As the City of High Point prepares for new downtown development, portions of N. Elm Street, Lindsay Street, Pine Street and English Road will closed for infrastructure upgrades.  We will be replacing electric, sewer, water and storm water systems in these roads.  This is part of an overall plan to upgrade  century old infrastructure in our downtown.

Update:  4/11/19

This week, Garney crews finished installing the sewer line between Gatewood and Ferndale for Phase 1, and then tested the line, repaved the road and installed curb and gutter. Next, they will work on potholing on Church Avenue and Lindsay Street, while continuing to install sewer toward the existing tie-in. Lindsay Street will remain closed to through traffic from Gatewood to Ferndale until Monday, April 15, and then the closure will switch to the Ferndale intersection to English Road.
