2. What are your hours of operation?

Our hours of operation are:

 Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Our facility operates on 4 day per week, 10-hour day schedule.

3. What materials do you accept?

 Accepted in Curbside Carts and or at Collection Locations

• Plastic bottles, jars, tubs and jugs - Lids ON & Plastic Berry Containers
• Cardboard corrugated boxes flattened (including pizza boxes (no food)
• Glass bottles and jars (no corks)
• Mixed Paper: newspaper, office paper, cereal/food boxes, magazines, paperback books, junk mail, beverage cartons (Nothing smaller than a post-it note)
• Metal Cans - aluminum beverage cans, pet food cans, food (fruit, veggie, and meat) cans

4. Is there a fee?

There is no fee for bringing recycling to our facility.

5. I have been missed for my recycling pick-up?

If you have been missed for your recycling pick-up, call the City of High Point’s Customer service number at 336-883-3111.

6. Explain the electronics recycling program. Does it cost to drop off?

 North Carolina banned all televisions and computer equipment from landfills. This includes: laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, fax machines, mice/keyboards and T.V.s. The City does not accept these items in recycling or garbage carts. 

To dispose or recycle these items, do not place these items in your recycling cart for pick up.  They Must be taken to:

• The Material Recovery Facility (MRF) 5875 Riverdale Dr., Jamestown, NC      M-Th 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Ingleside Composting Facility & Recycle Drop off Site 3001 Ingleside Dr., High Point, NC       M-F 8 a.m.-4 p.m. & Sat. 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
