    Local historian Phyllis Bridges will introduce her newest documentary - "The March on an All-American City." The film gives a chronological timeline of how an African American community and an All-American City survived the racial tension of the 1960s. This film gives you a glimpse into the history of High Point’s African American community when it was fighting for integration and equality during the Civil Rights Movement.

    In honor of the MLK holiday, Phyllis Bridges, noted local historian, will provide a free encore presentation of her documentary film (1 hr 50 min) about the Civil Rights struggle in this city, "The March on an All-American City," which premiered in November at the High Point Theatre. Phyllis will hold a brief Q&A afterwards.
