The Readers' Guild is a book club devoted to reading and discussing books in the science fiction and fantasy genre, including both classic and modern authors. We meet every third Tuesday and welcome new members of all perspectives, ages, backgrounds, and creeds -- please join us! For our June meeting, we will discuss Max Gladstone's "Three Parts Dead" -- a novel about a dead god and the rookie necromantic (read: wizard lawyer) who’s sent to resurrect him. Recently nominated for the "Best Series" Hugo Award, Three Parts Dead is an engaging mix of urban fantasy and legal thriller. Print copies are available in the library, and an eBook is available from the North Carolina Digital Library.
