Washington Street was a thriving business and entertainment district for High Point’s black community during the period of segregation. The tour, lasting approximately 90 minutes. Join local historian Phyllis Bridges for a historical tour of Oakwood Municipal Cemetery. Rediscover stories that have gone unearthed for decades of High Point’s early Black Settlers.
