Fay McCauley will share her story of self-discovery through family history. She will explain the obstacles she faced and the satisfaction of breaking through brick walls associated with slavery. Her talk encourages young people to find a sense of self-esteem and community pride through family history. She is a member of the local chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society and volunteers with the Washington Drive Resource and Enrichment Center. Co-sponsored by the High Point Chapter of the NAACP.
