  2. Food for Fines Amnesty Event

    1 non-perishable food item will forgive $1 in overdue fines. Donations will be given to local food pantries and the Guilford County Animal Shelter. Customers are responsible for all lost, damaged, missing and collection agency fees. Expired items cannot be accepted.

    For fabulous flowers in spring, plan ahead and plant some bulbs after the first autumn frost. Flowering bulbs like daffodils, hyacinths, and crocus are among the earliest flowers to bloom. Bulbs can be planted in flower beds, around trees, or grown in containers.
